Who we are
D&F Ventures GmbH operates GreenclaimsChecker and is the controller of personal data processed via this website. Our full legal and contact details are listed on the Imprint page.
Information we collect
- Information you give us when you request a trial: name, email, company, website (optional) and any context you choose to share.
- Information collected automatically (GA4 events, IP via fonts/analytics).
How we use it
To operate and improve the service, to respond to trial requests, to measure interest in our landing pages in aggregate, and to comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request, in particular when you submit a trial request.
- Our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage and improving the service.
- Your consent where required by law, for example for analytics in the EU.
Sharing with third parties
We share personal data only with the processors needed to run the service:
- Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics 4 and Google Sheets and Google Fonts. See Google's privacy policy. Some processing may take place in the United States, based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Supabase / Lovable Cloud — database hosting and application infrastructure.
International transfers
Some of our processors (notably Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another valid transfer mechanism.
Retention
Trial-request data is kept until the lead is closed or you ask us to delete it. Aggregated landing-page events are kept for up to 24 months. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's defaults (currently 14 months).
Cookies & similar technologies
We and our analytics provider (Google Analytics) use cookies and similar browser storage to measure how the site is used and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights (GDPR Art. 15–22)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
